Flydubai has just launched its flights to Iași, Romania.
As planned, the Emirati national carrier launched its direct flight this February, connecting its hub in Dubai (DXB) to Lasi International Airport (IAS). Flydubai will operate two weekly flights on this route, departing Tuesdays and Fridays from Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport.
The outbound flight, FZ 783, operated by a two-class Boeing 737 MAX 8 with 174 seats, including 12 Business Class seats, departs Dubai at 9:25 a.m. and arrives in Romania at 1:15 p.m. The return flight departs Lasi at 2:45 p.m. and arrives in Romania at 9:00 p.m.
In statements to the Khaleej Times, Jeyhun Efendi, Deputy General Manager of Commercial Operations and E-commerce at flydubai, said: “We are delighted to offer our customers more flights to Romania. Iași is our second destination in this historic Eastern European country, after Bucharest.”
“Increasing our service to Romania also means greater connectivity to our growing network and the opportunity to welcome more visitors to Dubai, where they can enjoy numerous attractive connections to destinations around the globe,” he added.
He noted that flydubai has increased its Dubai-Bucharest service to three daily flights, offering 21 weekly departures to the Romanian capital’s airport.
