Flydubai will resume flights to Chattogram, Bangladesh. The route, which was suspended in September 2024 due to lack of profitability and increased costs (landing taxes and fuel, etc.), will be suspended.

The Emirati low-cost carrier will resume its flights to the airport on October 26, operating seven flights per week to Chattogram Shah Amanat Airport from Dubai, with one daily flight.

The 174-seat (two-class) Airbus A340-300 will operate flights to the Bangladeshi destination. Departures will be at 1:20 and 1:45 from the United Arab Emirates (arrivals in Bangladesh at 7:55 and 8:45). The return flight will depart at 8:55 and 9:45, with a scheduled landing at Dubai International Airport at 12:50 and 1:20.

This resumption of operations to Chattogram is part of Flydubai’s strategy to target more destinations in South Asia, as the UAE-based low-cost carrier recently launched a regular flight to Bhairahawa, Nepal, and increased its service frequencies to several destinations in Pakistan, including Islamabad, Lahore, and Peshawa.
